Golden Foot Award 2013 goes to Didier Drogba

Galatasaray striker Didier Drogba has won the 2013 Golden Foot, after being presented with the accolade at a ceremony in Monte Carlo, according to reports on Twitter.
Drogba is also only the second player to be honoured that has played in the Premier League, with Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs the only other name from England's top-flight to receive recognition.
Each year the ceremony is attended by three former football stars, with Colombian legend Carlos Valderrama, Argentine great Ossie Ardiles and France's Jean-Pierre Papin this year's guests of honour.
The list of other nominees that the former Chelsea striker beat to the award are as follows:
Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal /Real Madrid), - Andres Iniesta (Spain / Barcelona) - Frank Lampard (England / Chelsea) - David Trezeguet (France / River Plate) - Andrea Pirlo (Italy / Juventus) - Samuel Eto'o (Cameroon / Chelsea) - Iker Casillas (Spain / Real Madrid) - David Beckham (England) - Miroslav Klose (Germany / Lazio).
